I was recommended American Stems and immidiately knew these florals would be perfect for our Cape Cod wedding. Kelsey was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process. I was originally indecisive on my vision and Kelsey was knowledgeable, informative and assisted with visuals to make everything super easy for me. I was so happy to see how everything came together on our special day. If I had any questions, I knew I did not have to worry about anything because of how responsive Kelsey was. From the moment I saw Kelsey’s floral designs and hopped on the phone with her, I knew she would be the perfect florist for my wedding. I wanted flowers that were artful, fun, and organic and no one does that better than Kelsey and her team! Not only does Kelsey have an amazing eye for floral design but as my own wedding planner, I really appreciated how thoughtful and detail oriented she was when discussing my vision with her. Even on the first call which was about 2 years before our wedding date, Kelsey was actively listening to me and asking questions to get a strong sense of what I liked and disliked to make sure I was comfortable with all elements of the design. I ended up changing my color theme multiple times (and definitely too close to my wedding date) and Kelsey was able to pivot so graciously. She was also responsive in helping us decide what plates and linens would go best with the florals which was such a big help since we didn’t have a planner. At the wedding, guests kept commenting on how amazing the flowers were and my photographer also said how much she loved them. I can’t thank Kelsey and her team enough and wish I could have another wedding just to book them again!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about American Stems – working with Kelsey was a dream! From our initial consultation and throughout the whole process, she truly understood our vision and brought it to life in the most beautiful way. I didn't have a specific idea for my flowers or décor other than wanting a few colors and an organic/ beachy aesthetic, and she exceeded all expectations. The ceremony flowers were breathtaking and seeing them for the first time as I walked down the aisle was one of the highlights of my day. My bouquet could not have been more beautiful, and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were stunning and so unique. Our reception was in the ballroom at Ocean Edge, and I totally relied on Kelsey’s expertise to help soften the space. In addition to our flowers, Kelsey also designed the tablescapes. The garden inspired floral arrangements combined with candles, driftwood and shells transformed the room from a corporate ballroom to a cozy, beachside dinner party setting. She also came up with the idea to use oyster shell candles – which I loved and surprised us with a beautiful arrangement in front of the band stand! Truly went above and beyond. I received so many compliments on the florals and tables. Kelsey is super responsive, easy to chat with and run ideas by, cognizant of budget and SO talented. We are so grateful for American Stems - highly recommend!!!

Can not imagine having used and trusted anyone else. When I first spoke to Kelsey, I didn't have a specific vision or color scheme in mind - the only thing I knew was that I wanted some sort of overhang floral chandelier moment. Kelsey was incredibly helpful and thoughtful in helping me curate my vision, then executing that vision beyond expectation! A few of my guests even snuck out from cocktail hour to go back and take pictures with the ceremony installation :) Then, of course, you can't forget us throwing in a game time decision to switch up our reception spot due to weather... Kelsey’s vision and her ability to make abstract ideas come alive is unparalleled. We were aiming for a whimsical, organic, fun ikebana-inspired wedding, and that is what she turned out and more. We didn’t even have a color scheme when we talked to her, but Kelsey was the one who suggested sunset tones — a choice that looked stunning the day-of and anchored the rest of our aesthetic choices in a way that paid off in spades. We knew Kelsey was the vendor for us immediately after we got off the phone with her.
